About project
Blurred Identity is a conceptual AI-generated portrait project for NOEMA Collective, a fictional creative studio exploring themes of perception and selfhood. The central image — a man’s portrait with intentional motion blur — reflects the fragility of identity in a fast-moving, digital-first world.
Project overview
The project is built around the tension between clarity and distortion. Blur is not treated as an error but as an aesthetic tool: a way to express memory, movement, and the uncertain edges of identity. The result is a series of portraits that feel both intimate and ephemeral, questioning how we are seen and remembered.
What I did
I created the visual concept, experimented with AI tools to achieve layered blur effects, and curated the final selection. Each piece was chosen to highlight emotion over sharpness, inviting the viewer to engage with imperfection as part of the story.
